Environmental Restoration
The geography of Isiekenesi features rolling terrains that sit close to vital water networks, including the source of the famous Orashi River in neighboring Dikenafai. However, this specific topography has exposed Isiekenesi and its surrounding towns to a severe, ongoing environmental crisis: gully erosion. Devastating landslides and massive erosion gullies have historically threatened homes, fractured main access roads (like the Okwelle-Isiekenesi-Ntueke road), and severely impacted local infrastructure.
Education Support
Primary and secondary education in Isiekenesi, anchored by historic institutions like Isiekenesi High School and local community primary schools, is crippled by severe structural decay. Decades of systemic neglect have left local children to learn in hazardous classrooms featuring leaking roofs, crumbling walls, broken desks, and a total absence of modern learning materials or functional sanitary facilities.
